The process
Step One - The brief
Upon contacting VUR, we arrange an information gathering session at our studio between our creative team and your key decision makers.
This session will help you define your focus and objectives and allow us to strategically produce excellent creative design within your budget.

Once we have a detailed brief, including your production budget, target audience, preferences and expectations, we prepare a proposal for your consideration.
Why your budget is important to us before we
start designing.
Your production budget is important to us so we can take
into consideration signage, production and manufacturing costs when designing for your space. It allows us to help
you creatively squeeze the most out of your budget.
Step Two - The creative
Great creative takes time and involves many internal processes such as research, development and refinement.
Before putting pen to paper or our ideas to a computer, we research your competitors, demographic, trends and consumer expectations to help us position your brand uniquely.
This is why we ask for a minimum of two weeks for us to come up with our initial creative sketches and ideas, revise them and then present them to you as realised concepts.
The concepts we present will take into consideration your competition, target market, objective and budget.
Refinements and any additional design development are usually made within one week and are presented again for final consideration.
Step Three - Implementation
Once the design direction has been approved, VUR apply the graphics to elevations (supplied by your interior architect or shopfitter) ready for approval by a RDM (Retail Design Manger), a shopping centre representative or council department. If necessary we liaise on your behalf and adopt any revisions required to meet this approval process.
Once approved, final documentation of artwork is prepared which outlines final production specifications and dimensions. If a site visit has been included in your proposal, VUR will visit the site and confirm all dimensions of the artwork before releasing press ready files for production. Alternatively the document is provided to your shopfitter who will be required to check the dimensions and sign-off on the measurements.
VUR can also print manage your project. Please ask us for details.
